Sunset on the 4th of July and I had swapped the Canon EF 135MM F/2.0L USM lens for the Canon EF 50MM F/1.4 USM lens to photograph the fireworks.
The vintage Gulf gas pump sign was lighting the pump and wall behind it in a very interesting hue that I captured above.

We had the pleasure of visiting friends for the 4th of July to enjoy a fireworks display. The hosts are collectors of classic toys, antique cars and related items, and Americana.

We spent Father's Day weekend in Burlington Vermont at the Essex soccer tournament. On Saturday after the games, we had dinner in downtown Burlington then took a walk over to the lakeshore to catch the sunset.

I had put out bird seed to attract the birds one Spring weekend for photographing. This Norther Gray Squirrel ignored my presence and strolled up and began feasting. This allowed me to take a number of close-up photos with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM.
