While photographing the hummingbirds from the previous post, this House Finch perched atop the bird feeder. I positioned myself to frame the bird with the purple branches of the Butterfly Bush and took a few images with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens handheld.
The images are post-processed in Adobe Lightroom CC with adjustments to exposure, crop, and local highlight and shadow adjustments.
