Dark-Eyed Junco in the snow converted to black and white (click to enlarge)

Dark-Eyed Junco in the Snow II

November 24, 2017

Shown above is the same Dark-Eyed Junco from the previous post photographed last Winter. These series of images were taken on a Winter morning in a moderate snow storm. The photos were taken through my kitchen window while the birds were visiting the bird feeder. The snow on the ground and on the feeder makes for the all white background that transforms the scene into a monochromatic minimalist background that allows the birds to be the focus of the image.

The black and white conversion was completed with with Tonality CK plugin and Photoshop 2018.

Thanks for stopping by today!
