Hoover Tower - Stanford University

Stanford University

April 24, 2020

Continuing our California vacation series, on this day we visited the campus of Stanford University. The weather was gorgeous and the sky was bright blue which contrasted nicely with the campus’ California Mission themed architecture.

“In 2016, Stanford University celebrated the 125th anniversary of its opening on October 1, 1891. Founded by Jane and Leland Stanford in honor of their son Leland Jr., Stanford today is a global leader in teaching, research and discovery.”

We walked through the main quad and adjacent quads, the Stanford Memorial Church, the bookstore, and out to the athletic complex and the football stadium. All photos were taken with the Fujifilm X100F handheld.

Thanks for stopping by today!
