Going to seed

November 5, 2017

A weekend afternoon looking for small details to shoot in the yard. The plant above was going to seed and the afternoon sunlight was illuminating the background in yellows and greens.

Taken with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 135MM F/2L lens, I used a F/8.0 aperture to keep the seeds in focus, but blow out the background. The black and white conversion was done in Tonality CK and Adobe Photoshop CC 2018.

Thanks for stopping by today!
