Luke, our chocolate labrador retriever, sitting in the snow this past Winter with his tennis ball. It's not easy to get him to sit still and look at the camera when he has a ball or toy.
Photographed with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens handheld mid-day. For the black and white conversion, I brought the image into Photoshop CC 2018 and used the Tonality CK plugin for the initial adjustment. Once I completed the initial conversion, I added a sharpening layer and a background layer to clean up the distracting grass blades poking through the snow.
