Monochrome yellow Daylily (click to enlarge)

Monochrome Daylily

November 11, 2017

Continuing with the black and white conversion spree above is a yellow Daylily photographed in July converted to black and white.

Photographed with the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 135MM F/2L lens handheld in our yard. The black and white conversion was completed in Photoshop CC 2018 using the Tonality CK plugin for the initial mapping. Then back in Photoshop, I added layers for sharpening and Dodge & Burn to bring out the structure of the flow petals.

Thanks for stopping by today!

In black & white, photography Tags Canon, Canon 7D Mark II, 7D Mark II, flower, black and white, monochrome, EF 135MM F/2.0L USM, Tonality CK
