Black-Capped Chickadee perched in Winter

Black-Capped Chickadee in Snow

February 24, 2018

A Black-Capped Chickadee visits in a winter storm and indulges your humble photographer by perching on the top of a bird feeder hanger wire for about 10 seconds.

Photographed handheld with the Canon 7D Mark II and Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens. Post processing was completed in Adobe Photoshop CC with Skylum Luminar for color correction and Skylum Tonality CK for the black and white conversions.

Thanks for stopping by today!
