New York City & Brooklyn

October 14, 2017

In April, we traveled to Bushwick Inlet Park on the East River bank in Brooklyn New York for a soccer game. Since I was there for a soccer game, I had the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.0-5.6L IS USM lens with me. Having arrived nearly an hour before game time, there was plenty of time to explore the park and I found there were many opportunities to use the 100-400MM's reach to capture the city and architecture around the park.

Massachusetts State House at Sunset

December 20, 2015

On our recent trip to Boston to watch the Fighting Irish in the Shamrock Series game, we spent the afternoon walking the Freedom Trail from Quincy Market to Boston Commons. Above is the Massachusetts State House photographed from across the street.

The late afternoon sun was illuminating the dome, but I liked the way the black and white conversion brought out the detail in the sky and facade.

The above image was shot handheld with the Fuji X100s. It is a composite of several images to remove pedestrians walking by.

Have a great day!

Reflections

Building Reflection on Glass

As sun began to set after dinner, I captured a number of reflections in the building glass as we strolled around Burlington Vermont. All images were captured with the Fuji X100s and processed in Lightroom CC.

Thanks for stopping by today.
