Bald Eagle at Lake Saratoga

Bald Eagle at Lake Saratoga

July 16, 2017

Photographing a Bald eagle in a pine tree through the leaves

While at Lake Saratoga taking photos of my daughter sailing, I noted a Bald Eagle land in a large pine tree about 60 feet above ground. With the Canon 7D Mark II and the Canon EF 100-400MM F/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens handheld, I managed to take a few photographs of this majestic bird.

My daughter had observed the eagle fishing throughout the week, but the eagle just sat on the tree limb while I was at the lake. Maybe next time.

All photos are post-processed in Adobe Lightroom CC for exposure and clarity.

Have a great day!
