Summer Flowers

July 15, 2017

I broke out the Canon EF 135MM F/2L lens with the Canon 7D Mark II the other day to capture the Summer flowers. Having been almost exclusively shooting the EF100-400 F/4.0-5.6L IS USM lens this Spring and early Summer because of all the kids sports, it was refreshing (and challenging) to go back to using that extreme shallow depth of field that you can achieve with the 135MM lens.

The photos shown here are processed in Adobe Photoshop CC with Macphun's Luminar plugin. The post-processing primarily included slight color processing and exposure adjustments. I'm still learning Luminar and it is growing on me. I would still like to see a better black and white conversion package to replace Silver Efex Pro II.

Thanks for stopping by today.
